The Three Fists are a trinity of martial artists who all have identical appearances, names, fighting styles, and even destinies. It is shown that there have been 153 generations of them, and they have first appeared 2000 years ago.

Overview[]

The names of the three martial artists that make up Three Fists are Raiden, Hien, & Gekkou.

The first one, Raiden, has the appearance of an archetypical martial artist who possesses a Fu Manchu mustache and the tattoos for the kanji "Peaceful Death" on his forehead, which reflects his fighting style of Peaceful Death style, which allows the user full mastery of their muscles through special breathing methods, but also has a wide variety of other techniques, such as the use of hidden blades in shoes for enhanced kicks, optical illusions, and even more unusual techniques, such as using a body double of one's self using a trinity of trained monkeys, and using one's own mustache to block attacks and as a weapon.

The second one, Hien, has the appearance of a handsome androgynous man, and possesses the fighting style of the Birdman Fist, which revolves around graceful acrobatic movements, powerful kicks, and also the use of needles to induce paralysis.

The third and final one, Gekkou, has the appearance of a hairless, muscular man who has a dot on his forehead, and uses the fighting style of the Chuou Clan Kung Fu, which mostly revolves around the use of a hexagonal quarterstaff and other weaponry, although bare-handed attacks are also used.

History[]

Sakigake!! Otokojuku[]

The 152nd Generation of the Three Fists first made their appearance in the Four Great Trials of Terror arc as the elite henchmen of Date Omito and his chosen fighters for the arc's titular trials.

Raiden fought J in the first trial, the Burning Sulfur Vein, which was a small lake of red-hot sulfur with multiple rocks for platforming. Raiden initially had the upper hand on J due to his boxing being the worst possible fighting style for the Burning Sulfur Vein's hazardous terrain, due to it preventing him from using his footwork, but J managed to use Raiden's Phoenix Crane Fist against him and trap the blades of his boots with his pectoral muscles, and delivered a Mach Punch to instantly defeat him.

Hien was the next member of the 152nd Generation of the Three Fists to fight, and he went up against Togashi Genji in the 2nd trial, the Battle of the Midair Cliff, which requires the opponents to hold onto two different ropes that are hanging off the side of a cliff. Like Raiden before him, Hien also started out with the upper hand against Togashi, due to his Birdman Fist fighting style specializing in midair attacks, perhaps even more so than Raiden, due to him also paralyzing Togashi's arms with his Cranebeak Needles, but with morale support from the students of Otokojuku, lead by Matsuo Taio, who all preformed the Great Chime Yell to cheer on Togashi, as well as due to just plain luck, such as surviving a would be lethal fall because of the Rising Dragon Wind, Togashi managed to turn the tables on Hien and defeat him.

The final member of the Three Fists to face off against Otokojuku was Gekkou, who faced off against Toramaru Ryuji in the third and penultimate trial, the Blazing Slab of Ice, which took place in an icy cavern on a platform made of ice held up by a pillar, also made of ice, surrounded by a bed of spikes, and to make things more difficult, a fire was lit on the ceiling to ensure that the icy cavern will melt over time.

Toramaru proved to be a more difficult opponent for Gekkou than the previous students did with their respective members of the Three Fists, and thus, their battle proved to be a more even one, with both Toramaru and Gekkou getting the upper hand on eachother at multiple instances. Ultimately, Toramaru managed to temporarily knock out Gekkou with his Great Fart Cannon Flamethrower, but Gekkou managed to regain consciousness as everyone was leaving because of the cavern collapsing, and Toramaru had to restrain him, seemingly causing the two of them to die together.

After the Four Great Trials of Terror arc, the 152nd generation of the Three Fists joined Otokojuku alongside their boss, Date Omito, starting from the Great Trembling Conquest of the Unified Eight arc, and have remained on Otokojuku's side ever since.

Akatsuki!! Otokojuku[]

The 153rd Generation of the Three Fists make an appearance as antagonists in the Sodom World Council arc in Akatsuki!! Otokojuku, and each of them displays new techniques to differentiate them from the previous generation (i.e. Gekkou CLIII has the Su Tea Lu Thu technique, which enables him to become invisible).

Like the previous generation, they each fight a different member of the current generation of Otokojuku in gimmicky battlefields.

The first one of them to go is Gekkou CLIII, who faces off against Kurosu Nobunaga in the Chamber of Four Grudges, which is a barren room with four walls that each have a different trap on them that activate whenever something or someone gets near them, the first one being the Wall of Flames, which has flamethrowers in it, the second one being the Wall of Thorns, which has spikes that burst out of holes to impale their targets, the third and penultimate one is the Wall of Glue, which is covered with a powerful adhesive that traps anything unfortunate enough to come into contact with it, and the final one is the Wall of Fangs, which has venomous snakes living in the holes that come out and attack anything that gets near.

The next of them to fight is Raiden CLIII, who fights Zhang Wukong in the Chamber of Bubbles, which consists of multiple floating bubbles that are strong enough to be used as platforms, albeit ones that sink, above a field of spikes.

The final member of the 152nd Generation of the Three Fists is Hien CLIII, who fights against Tsurugi Shishimaru in the Chamber of Intelligent Phosphorescent Light, which is a nearly pitch black room lit up by a bunch of carnivorous bloodthirsty fireflies known as Man-Eating Hades Fireflies.

After the Sodom World Council arc, they are never seen again, with Gekkou CLIII being the only one who is undisputably alive, given that Raiden CLIII was eaten alive by the Man-Eating Hades Fireflies, and Hien CLIII was sent falling to what was presumably his doom by Tsurugi Shishimaru's Thousand Pace Ki-Fist.
