“ | If you lose your self-possession for a moment, it means death. | ” |
Senkuu is a Third-Year in Sakigake!! Otokojuku, and a antagonist-turned-protagonist. He's one of the Lords of Death.
Appearance[]
Senkuu is notable for his upright blond hair. Like the other Lords of Death, he wears a black cape, but he is the only one of the Lords of Death to wear it into battle. He also wears gloves, to which he attaches his wires, and armor on his waist, wrists, and shins; his shin armor also has blades built into them. He is famously seen holding a black rose in his teeth.
Personality[]
Like other fighters in the series, Senkuu is a silent and confident warrior with a firm sense of honor, to the point that he even save his enemy when he has defeated him.
Powers and Abilities[]
Senkuu is a master of the Lu Clan (戮家, Riku-ke) school of kung-fu, an assassination art said to rival Manjimaru's Evil Spirits Fist. Most of these techniques revolve around the use of kicks and invisible razor wires.
Techniques[]
- Thousand-Streak Mounted Wire Fist (千条鏤紐拳, Senjo Rochuken): Senkuu's signature technique. Involves using his razor wires like whips, which are invisible due to their speed and their thinness, yet powerful enough to cut through bone. The following are applications of this technique:
- Bound String Kill (縛張殺, Bakuchosatsu): Senkuu wraps a razor wire around his opponent's body to sever parts off, whether decapitating or amputating a limb.
- Bound String Kick (縛張脚, Bakuchokyaku): Senku ties a piece of razor wire in between his feet, allowing him to sever parts of his opponent from a handstand position.
- Thousand-Streak Stormy Array (千条獗界陣, Senjo Kekkaijin): Senkuu surrounds his opponent with his wires, then spins spiked tops on the wires which he controls using delicate finger movements.
- Dancing Heel Blades (踊跳踵刃, Yocho Shojin): Senkuu uses a spinning kick from a handstand position, with blades equipped onto his lower legs. This allows him to attack even when his feet have been wounded, and the circular motions leave no opening for an attack.
- Fierce Surrounding Drop of Death (烈繞降死, Retsujo Koshi): A technique used against an enemy attacking from above. Senkuu launches them into the air with a double-legged kick, then jumps and grabs them, driving them into the ground.
- Heel Blade Whirlwind Kick (踵刃旋風脚, Shojin Senpukyaku): Another bladed spinning kick from a handstand position, though rather than multiple blades on each foot, there is only one large blade.
- Ring Reversal (還輾盃, Kantenpai): Senkuu catches an enemy projectile weapon with his wires, turning it back on his opponent.
- Fluttering Flash Style: Death-Crushing Fist (靡閃流薨砕拳, Bisenryu Kosaiken): A karate chop with enough power to destroy a knife in one blow. Only used once upon Senkuu's introduction.
