I, Horus, the Right Arm of the Twin Sphinxes, shall present a riddle to you here.

Horus is the Right Arm of the Twin Sphinx, one of the elite guards of Pharaoh and among the strongest fighters of Pharaoh Sphinx.

Appearance[]

Horus is first introduced wearing a helmet with a large plume and a mask depicting the face of a raven. In addition, he is wearing a Wesekh collar and armor on his shoulders, wrists, waist, and knees. He soon removes the helmet to reveal an effeminate face with long, wavy black hair, thick makeup, and a metal band on his forehead.

Personality[]

Despite looking smug and arrogant, Horus is an honorable adversary who respects his opponents when it comes to being defeated by them, to the point that he is capable of sacrificing his own life for them. In addition, he has a great appreciation for his birds, as he describes them as wise, faithful, and excellent warriors.

Powers and Abilities[]

Techniques[]

Blackbird Devil Control Technique (黒烏魔操術, Kokuu Masojutsu): Horus can control a flock of crows, which he can both use as a means of flight and attack.

  • Grief of Champollion (シャンポリオンの嘆き, Champollion no Nageki): Horus has his crows wrap his opponent in bandages made out of sturdy hemp. Once Horus' opponent has become a living mummy, he finishes the job by setting the bandages on fire.

Riddle of the Sphinx (スフィンクスの謎, Sphinx no Nazo): Horus confounds his opponent with the following riddle:

The black devil that comes from the darkness brings him eternal darkness where he cannot see the light of day or the stars of night, and amidst the terror of darkness, he hears the resounding melody of death as the fangs of the venomous snake bite him and he dies in agony…

He then has a crow blind his opponent with smoke that paralyzes his opponent's optic nerve, then has all his crows ring bells to throw off his opponent's sense of hearing, and finally delivers the killing blow with venom-tipped nails, revealing that the answer to the riddle is, in fact, his opponent.

History[]

The Great Heaven-Challenging Olympic Tournament[]

After the defeat of Djoser, Pinedjem and Neskhons, Pharaoh sent his two bodyguards to be the next fighters. First he sent Seti, and after Seti's defeat, Horus launched himself at the combat with a bird-feather hang glider. Date managed to grab onto it and cause him to crash into the combat arena. Despite this, both Horus and Date were intact.

But...the hang glider wasn't made of feathers: it was the birds of Horus, which, after receiving the order from their master, began to surround Date! Using his Champollion no Nageki, they began to wrap Date in bandages, until it was completely mummified. After being completely bandaged, Horus set him on fire...but that wasn't Date, it was Seti! Date had managed to make the change with him, managing to escape his attack.

Seeing how powerful his adversary was, Horus proposed that if he guessed his riddle, he would have a chance of winning. Seeing that Date apparently did not know, one of his birds threw an egg that, when it burst, blinded Date, and then began to sound bells to disorient him and attack him with his venom-tipped nails. But due to Date's good nose, and the large amount of cosmetics that Horus had, he managed to remove one of his nails and damage his cheek with it.

Despite accepting his defeat, his crows launched themselves against Date, and he knocked them all out right away. Accepting his defeat, he let Date Omito finish him off...but instead, he hit him in the specific spot so that the poison was released from his body, before hitting the ground with his spear and causing all the crows to rise up. Pleased with Date, he sacrificed himself to save him from the javelin thrown by Anubis.
