Hong Shen-long is the 161st leader of the Brahman Temple and a rival of Wang Ta-ren who he first met during the Chinese Civil War.
Appearance[]
He is a tall man with a masculine jawline who was impressive eyebrows, a horseshoe mustache, and a goatee. He has light colored hair which is bald on the top, giving him a hairdo that looks like he has wings growing out the side of his head.
He wears a typical Kung Fu uniform with a Hindu style god on the front, that has eight arms and three faces.
In his youth, he had a full head of hair, still in the wing style, and didn't have any facial hair yet. He also went shirtless.
Personality[]
He has a prideful, yet serious and dignified attitude, as his standard expression is a calm, confident, smile. Despite his prideful nature, he is not disrespectful against his enemies, although he is willing to use tricks he has up his sleeve against them if they prove to give him a ton of trouble.
Powers and Abilities[]
Hong Sheng-long is one of the most powerful characters in the series, as he is able to preform feats such as opening up portals in space for instantaneous travel through force of will alone, and he was also able to defeat Wang Ta-ren, although not without great struggle, and was able to fight a temporarily-young Edajima Heihachi on equal grounds, although he quickly winded up being overwhelmed and defeated when he returned to being an adult.
Techniques[]
- Subspace Return (亜空転還): By using his will, Hong can control Subspace. He primarily opens up portals for near instantaneous travel.
- Remote Assassination Spell (遠隔闇殺呪): Hong steals his target's youth from afar using his will.
- Will Puppet Control (念操儡): The ultimate test of Will. Both Sides use their will to control puppets without physically moving until they are at their limits. He used this against Wang Ta-ren.
- Head Mallet Bell Crusher (頭槌鐘砕, Totsui Shosai): Hong is able to use his head as a weapon after training. With his will he can push this technique further by augmenting his swelling's durability and even turning it into spikes.
- Killing Long Neck (轆轤殺顕首): Hong can extend his neck and increase his headbutting attack range.

Trivia[]
- Both of the two major battles he fought had a type of gimmick to them. His battle with Wang had them both control statues with the Will Puppet Control technique, and his battle with Edajima Heihachi had them preform the Head Mallet Bell Crusher.
- His fight with Edajima Heihachi is very similar to Heihachi's battle with Liu Song-qu, as like Liu, he also winds up removing his handcuffs to try and gain an advantage and also uses spikes to get a cheap shot in on Edajima Heihachi.
