Personality

Fukurokuju has a habit of ending his sentences with "luck" ("fuku" in Japanese), as though he is chuckling.

Powers and Abilities

Fukurokuju is incredibly quick and agile, and strong enough that one tap from his cane can bury a person up to their neck. He is also incredibly intelligent, and can plan entire battles out from their outset, setting up traps for his opponent. He is particularly powerful in the sea, and has the ability to command all kinds of sea life, from schools of fish to giant sea turtles.

Techniques

Fish School Reach (魚群裡威血, Gyogun Riichi): After forcing his opponent into the ocean, Fukurokuju sends a swarm of sea creatures after him. A reference to the popular Pachinko game "Tales of the Sea".

History

Sodom World Council

After Otokojuku's battle with the Sodom World Council, Fukurokuju and Benzaiten become the only members of the Seven Gods of Fortune to remain alive, or at least active. On a disguised Benzaiten's date with Zhang Wukong, Fukurokuju appears behind Zhang and bashes Zhang into the ground up to his neck, knocking him out. Fukurokuju reminds Benzaiten of their need to get revenge on Otokojuku, but Benzaiten affirms her love for Zhang, transforms into her masculine form, and punches Fukurokuju into the nearby lake.
