|“||I will end this battle in ten seconds!!||”|
Eikei is a Third-Year of Otokojuku, one of the Lords of Death and Jaki's right hand man. During the Great Heaven-Challenging Olympic Tournament, he is selected by Edajima Heihachi to fake his death and support Otokojuku undercover.
Eikei is a tall man with short, spiky black hair. In his first appearance, he wears a black cape and armor on his wrists and waist. At the beginning of the Great Heaven-Challenging Olympic Tournament, however, he wears a breastplate with spiked pauldrons and wristbands, and wears bandages over his right hand, which he unravels during his battle to reveal a blackened, poisoned hand.
When working undercover as Shokaku, he has a more streamlined appearance, with a simple sleeveless shirt and bandaged wrists. His face is masked by a black ribbon wrapped from the top of his head to just under his eyes, with the two ends of the ribbon trailing behind him. He still bandages his right hand.
Eikei is, like many Otokojuku warriors, a silent and serious man. He has great appreciation and admiration for Daigouin Jaki, to the point that he doesn't even dare to step on his shadow.
He's someone who can be trusted with difficult tasks, as well as being quite reliable. That's why Edajima made him fake his death, in order to help his team from the shadows.
Powers and Abilities
Eikei is a master of two distinct styles, the Disposed Anger Style (愾塵流, Kijinryu), which centers around weaponry, and the Fearsome Anger Style (愾慄流, Kiritsuryu), which centers on the Poisoned Hand. He uses the Fearsome Anger Style more prominently, and the Disposed Anger Style solely in the Great Trembling Conquest of the Unified Eight.
Ben-fu Nunchuks (犇斧ヌンチャク, Honfu Nunchaku): A pair of nunchuks bladed on each end, which can move quickly and unpredictably.
Transparent Wings of Terror (恟透翼, Kyoutouyoku): A pair of boomerangs made of transparent crystal. Though visible when stopped, they become all but invisible when flying, and can be seen only by Eikei himself.
Strike of the Poisoned Hand (穿凶毒手, Senkyo Dokushu): Eikei pours enough poison on his hands to kill an elephant in seconds, causing one scratch to be lethal. The technique is also lethal to Eikei, and his acceptance of death causes him to fear nothing.
- Strike of the Poisoned Hand: World of Illusion (穿凶毒手拳幻睨界, Senkyo Dokushuken Gengeikai): Eikei's hypnotic rotating hand motions cause the illusion of multiple hands, only one of which is real.
Poisoned Hand Fist (毒手拳, Dokushuken): Eikei's Poisoned Hand is retconned after the Great Trembling Conquest of the Unified Eight; rather than pouring poison on his hands, he instead had built up a poisonous hand over years and years of training. As before, one scratch is lethal, but there is no risk to Eikei.
Faint Mayfly (眩蜻蛉, Genseirei): Eikei spins the bandages on his hand in a spiral, gradually increasing the speed, providing cover for his Poisoned Hand strikes.
Furious Flying Finger (烈指翔, Resshisho): Eikei bites off his own poisoned little finger, and spits it at the enemy.

- He was the only Lord of Death to be defeated in the Daibukai (although that was only to fake his death).
- The Kanji that make up his name, 影 ("Kage", interpreted as "Ei"), and 慶 ("Kei"), translate to the words shadow and jubilation respectively, so his name can be loosely translated as "Jubilant Shadow".
